I did a quick search and got no results so wondered if anyone else has used these as toys before?
The college i work at has a canteen which sells small pizzas in cheap carboard pizza boxes (in that they're just plain cardboard with 'Pizza' stamped on the top - not the glossy printed ones) so i just buy a couple of flat packed pboxes from them, build them and fill them with shredded paper, foot toys, broken bits of wooden toys, dolly pegs, leather pieces, almonds etc. push a hole through the open end and thread a piece of leather or rope through the whole thing to keep it together, and hang in the cage.
I also bought a packet of flour bags, again, just plain thick paper bags, from them over a year ago ( cost about £20 and i still have half a pack left!) and i just fill them up with the same sort of stuff and hang in the cage by pulling the open end through the cage bars and wrapping it through a couple of times.
Cheap, and it means you can keep using bits of broken toys - the best bit seems to be pulling the stuffing out and throwing everything on the cage floor lol!
