I have a pair of GCC's that I'm looking to find a new home for. They came together, bonded, and separating them causes them major upset. Both are closed banded, I have their hatch certificates and DNA papers. Born August of 2015. Comes with all toys and perches and 2 stainless steel bowls. Would be ideal for someone with a breeding program or just likes to stare at them. Fully feathered, healthy eaters, love baths, active, eyes/nose/beak/nails in good shape... Would make nice breeding pair if you wanted.

Male- Turquoise in color. Not people friendly and will bite when handled. He's always been a nasty little thing and no amount of boundaries I've give him are working. He'd probably need a super strong hand to get any better but after him attacking me and his constant aggressive behavior, I just can't handle it.

Female- Yellow Sided split Dilute(looks yellow sided). Will step up but is mouthy and super skittish. With some work might make a good companion, but without the male she gets to upset.

I'm in NO HURRY to see them go. I just can't take the male's nasty behavior anymore. I've even tried AviCalm on him and nothing helped. And I'm afraid to separate them for fear of them plucking. Because of his attitude and her reluctance with out him, they never get out. They've become cage displays and it's not fair. And I don't have the space for a divider cage, if that would even work.

Asking $400 for them, all their toys and perches, bowls and 1/2 a container of AviCalm. No cage. I'll switch my other larger Conure into theirs. I paid way more than that for just them.

I WILL NOT SHIP THEM!! I ask for a vet reference to ensure they are going to a great home. I'd be willing to meet someone close by. Located near Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Pictures on request :)

Please note that I do understand that this little guys can be very big in personality, I've already dealt with an aggressive Gcc who with boundaries has become my bff. But this male is something else. He's territorial, bites, lunges at me, and screams at me. I've tried 'earthquakeing' when he bites, time outs, redirection with treats, bonding over tricks (he knows wave and spin), trying one on one time with him, clicker training.... Even doing something as simple as taking the food dish can be a chore some days. He's got everyone in the house against him.

I know this will be stressful, but I'd rather find them a home they can be left alone or put to use in. The female night make a good companion but I would hate to see them separated and if I take then somewhere that is what would happen. Like I said, I'm in no hurry, I'm just trying to find them a good place.
