Pippy the biter

Hi everyone I have joined this site hoping that someone can help me with my black headed caique called Pippy. He talks and whistles we had him from a breeder when he was about 12 weeks old , he is now nearly two but he bites for no reason He loves to be on people but only lets you stroke him for a couple of seconds then with no warning he just attacks me . And others in the family. I really don't want to give up on him but don't want a bird that just has to live in his cage because he's vicious. I noticed someone said his diet could have something to do with this, please could you tell me what that means , I feed Pippy a bowl of mixed fruit and veg In one pot then fruity parrot seeds in another pot then water in another, I change his water in the afternoon and also change and give him more fruit and veg . But not the seeds I'm I doing wrong.
