Pink around green cheeks eyes?

I'm getting a cinnamon green cheek conure from a pet store that I trust (I got my other green cheek from there over a year ago). She's just a baby, so I've been waiting about 2 months to take her home and soon I can. Today when visiting her, I noticed that the skin around her eyes was slightly pink. I asked one of the people working there (he's not the usual guy who's there) what was wrong with her eyes. He said she is blushing and parrots do that when they are happy. I've never heard of this, since my green cheek at home never does this. So I'm wondering, should I be concerned about this? Or is "blushing" an actual thing? Thanks!

I have never seen my gccs do this. I have seen macaws blush, but I don't think it was ever the actual eyelid doing so. I suggest consulting your avian vet. Could be some sort of eye infection or unexpected sign of a deeper illness.

Interestingly, she didn't have any pinkness to the skin around her eyes until about 20 minutes after I started holding her. Still, I do think this is unusual and something could be wrong. I've seen her scratching at her eyes in the past though and didn't think much of it.
As of right now, I only see her on a weekly basis since the store is about 40 minutes away from my house and I can't take her home yet.

I don't have any info on this but just want to say that, on occasion, I notice the white around my GCC's eyes appear not as "white" as usual and slightly pinkish. I always think it's my imagination because it never lasts - by the time I check him out again its usually white as can be. If it means they are happy, that would be great!

I have never noticed this with my green cheek, but I will start to keep an eye out for it. Interesting.

It is a very subtle change in color. The only reason I noticed it is because I read a thread some time ago about a GCC having eye issues and they mentioned the eyes being pinkish. So being a paranoid parront, I notice every subtle change in my GCC.
