Pineapple GCC back/wing colors

I have 2 pineapple green cheek conures, and one of them has yellow splotches on his back and wings. My other just has green feathers, and most pictures I have found just show green feathers without the yellow mottling, as well. I'm curious if others have pineapple gccs that show this, too, or if my Scritch is unique.

Some have more color than others. I just got a beautiful male pineapple & it has a lot of red on his front right up to his face. I would get a pic but he was parent reared & is somewhat flighty.

What an adorable baby! My Widget has a lot of red and orange around his face, but I don't think he has any yellow mottling on his back. I think they're all just beautiful birds... they look like each part has been taken from a different parrot and were all put together into one bird. Frankenparrots.

Wow how nice, my turquoise has different colors like that on his back, some are greenish and some are really really blue color. I guessit depends on the bird

Thank you for the link! Scritch is just 7 months old right now, so it will be interesting to see if more of the mottling comes through with subsequent molts. Now to do more research on pied green cheeks...
