Thanks so much for posting these! I'm trying to get ideas on how to get Frankie a better setup for traveling. This gives me a good feel for how to make it work a little better. Frankie's travel cage looks just like Quincy's but is about halfway between the size of the two. I have bowls that clamp onto the bars, but I need to work on getting a perch that fits. When I first brought Frankie home, I just put a towel in the bottom of the cage because I didn't have much to work with. She pretty much just stayed hanging on the side of the cage the whole way, mostly because she was stressed. But that was her first trip with me too.
I have a difficult time finding large bird supplies where I live. You would think being so close to the capital city of WV that there would be more variety, but I guess there just aren't enough large bird owners around here to create the demand. Thank goodness for forums like this and online vendors, or it would all be impossible.
