I can't tell, i was just asking. A friend sold 6 babies earlier this year to a local broker. Wondered if it might be one of them. What does the band have on it?
PS you might not want to put that on the internet, no big deal. Sometimes it's a small world.

He just doesn't trust you completely yet. he feels safer away from your hand. he still likes you and wants to be near , just doesn't have the trust yet. I'll come ,soon enough, you'll be best buds. it's good you get to visit your new baby.
Just a fair warning since amazons can change their mood in a flash -be careful with him on your shoulder... Or at least be prepared to take a nip or bite to your face, ears, neck or any other random bit of flesh.
Jackie is similar- he prefers to ride on my shoulder because it's more comfortable/stable for him than my arm...but, I wear a hooded sweatshirt because I know he WILL nip/bite me- it's the when that's hard to predict because one second they're tra la la fine and dandy and a split second later they're biting you. If you want to continue carrying him on your shoulder you'll need to come to terms with the possibility of getting bit at some point. (and not a lot of people will recommend shouldering any bird).
Amazons are notorious for their mood swings and random biting...it's easier when you learn to read mango's behaviors- it'll help to avoid getting bit in the first place. Jackie flares his tail, flashes/pins his eyes, all sorts of stuff so I steer clear until he's calmed down.
Of course it's entirely up to you whether you permit him to be a shoulder bird or not, BUT, since this is your first Amazon, I'd listen to some of the advice you've been given here.
