Its not a great picture as normal as animals are never cooperative when you have a camera handy. This time the birds only got to mingle for a few minutes as some magpies flew in and scared off the wild friends.

See if you can pick my bird from the wild ones

Can someone please give me some instruction on posting photos in this forum. I seem to only post thumbnails rather than like others larger pictures TIA

Open an account with www.photobucket.com, upload your photos there. When you have the photo's page open on photobucket there will be a box to the right of the photo with options for four ways to embed your image into a web page: click on the one marked "direct" which will save it to your clipboard. Then, in your forum post, click on the photo icon and paste the link into the pop up field (you don't need the pre-typed "http://" bit, just paste over it). The image should then appear in your post.

I'd love to see a galah in my garden - best we ever have are jays, usually just magpies and wood pigeons. There's a family of peregrines round the corner from my place of work, which is about as exotic as you can get in the UK, although I'm not sure my galah would be too impressed by them...

Thanks for that. I have done it that way with other forums and then some forums you upload the pictures directly. I was surprised when I only got the thumbnails. I have now found the albums and not to make you jealous but here are some pictures of my front and backyards.
