LBI is pretty good overall. Amazing how much work has been done. It looks pretty 'normal' where i go (North Beach), with a few of the beach fronts still needing minor repairs. I had gone south on the island to Holgate back in March and it was like a war zone. It actually made me cry, even all those months after the storm. From what i hear, even though it is a mess still, it is WAY better than it was in March. Right now there are very few people here.
I'd love to visit some time. Gilbert would probably like that as well.

We lived in Little Egg Harbor for a year, and LBI was out FAVORITE place to go to in the summer. I just LOVE that beach so much more than the beaches near me now.

I don't think I can even imagine what LBI looked like after Sandy - the pictures I saw were absolutely horrible and devastating.

Oh yes, of course Gilbert is invited right alongside with you!
