The two with the red kinda heads, they were the sweetest, teased eachother to see who'll get attention first.LOL.:D

What are those beauties with the rose/red coloured heads?

And, yes! Wilma, you are quite the graphic artist! You are a young woman of many, many talent! ;)

I just googled and it seems to be Tucuman Amazons. Thank you Peta and Deanna, thanks to Kelli, i can "mix my pics"!:D

You guys are such showoffs with your fancy schmancy images :p Nicely done. Anyway, how come those aren't Mexican Redheads? What is the difference between Tucuman and Mexican Redheads? Gosh, I'm apparently not as knowledgeable at Amazon breeds as I would hope to be...

Very good question ... I Googled and it looks like to me that the Tucuman has less red than a Mexican Redhead? Or, am I looking at the same species??

Wilma and Kelli, told me about it, so its all thanks to them. :D It is very good tho'

Sorry I didn't mention your siggie, how rude I am. Its very good. :D

Speaking of Amazons in a petshop, I don't know if I mentioned it to you all before or not, but I was at the petshop a few weeks ago and was very upset.

They had an Amazon sitting out on a Manzanita tree, but he had no toys to play with, and one of his feathers were bent the wrong way. Poor little guy, I just wanted to help him but I wasn't about to touch him. He was on the top of the tree, which is about 7 feet tall, so there was a lot of height dominance going on there. I couldn't find a cage where he slept at night, so who knows what they do with him. AND he was marked as a DYH and was most certainly not! He was a YC...plus they had him for sale for $1399. Can you believe that? Probably just marked him as a DYH to get more money, but even $1399 is too much for one, especially from a chain pet store.
