Anyone out there use an app to track their parrot's behavior and health?

I used to have one I used back when I had reptiles, it was really helpful in identifying patterns and catching problems early. I was reminded of it today when I was chatting with a friend and she mentioned giving DogLog a try for her retriever.

I am now going to look for apps that might work for Homer...

Well, if you find something, please bring it back to the forum.

Over the many years with our Amazons, we have long used the results from their yearly full spectrum blood tests and the overall physical examination. Between those major events, we also stay aware of their overall daily activities. However, we strictly limit ourselves to a single Amazon at a time.

This sounds like a great $1.99 phone app idea...someone could be a thousand-aire by the end of the month.

HMMMM... ;)

What kinds of features would the ideal parrot care app have?

Hey!
I know this is an older post, but I wanted to share — I recently built an app that does exactly what you were looking for.

It’s called Ayla: Bird Health Tracking, and it helps track weight, behavior, and egg-laying trends. We created it after our own cockatoo developed some health issues and we needed a better way to keep everything organized.

If you're interested, it's available free on iOS:

No pressure at all — just thought it might help! Would love any feedback if you do give it a try.
