OK so I did a total cage cleaning on Saturday afternoon.

She's been her usual self for the most part.

This is what I found on the cage floor and on floor around the cage today at 2pm.

Seems like a lot of feathers in a 48 hour period to me. I've seen her with two feathers in her beak today alone.

I don't know if she is starting a second molt or if she is plucking. Any thoughts on this amount of feathers in such a short time?

Perjo is flying again. She has some wing feathers back some of whick are a bit ragged looking but she has taken off the top of the cage door three times this week and went into the other room about 18 feet away. That makes me feel a little better about her minor feather chewing issues. She jumps from my hand to her travel cage (which I set up on floor each morning for her to poop and play) so I know she is feeling more confident about flight.

Can't really say what the biggest change has been other than maybe she is more active and a little less bored taking her focus off her feathers.
