Pepper, a Timneh African Grey
She is the only one who can leave toys in the bathroom. She loves ripping her paper thingee, and I love that it keeps her from ripping the shower curtain:

And as a bonus, she loves her clicking training. She can now make a perfect clicker noise! She is trying to say her name, Hello, and a few other things we can't make out yet, and has adopted a few more sounds and whistles.

She is so beautiful! Thanks for sharing the adorable pictures!

She is just beautiful, truly! I love to read your posts about her, you are a great bird momma! I love to hear how excited, proud etc. you are! Love the picture of her with your daughter!

Aw so pretty! She sounds like a joy.:D

She is very beautiful and she looks like she loves it there. You must be a great mom to her!

I am so very happy that you guys found Pepper. She sounds like she is in the perfect place. I am glad you chose to re-home as I know that some folks worry about getting a bird that might be hard to bond with. It sounds like you are meant to be her Parronts!

Gratz

Thank you all!
The last three days or so she has been so vocal! She is trying all sorts of new sounds and really trying to talk! It's really surprising-I wasn't expecting her to get so noisy and interactive. We have been encouraging her and trying to talk with her more and she's loving all the attention. She's also started dancing around and it's so cute. We all dance with her. She must be getting a kick out of this crazy new flock! She can make a few different clicks and whistles and beeps that she's picked up from the Wii, the clicker, and me. She can make a kissy noise now. She can say "Pepper" and "Hello" in two different ways, and she's trying to say a few other things. She also is whistling something new in a way that sounds like talking. It's so fascinating all those noises she can make when she doesn't even have lips!

And she is a single bird, but she hasn't hit maturity yet. So they can be pen pals for now but no hanky-panky!
