Hiya! So I'm weaning Suki onto pellets, I mixed like three different brands off pellet into her seeds and she will now eat the pellets, so now I want to decide what brand to buy her on a general basis. There's an australian brand called Passwell which caters directly to australian cockatoos, so I know is designed for Suki. But I also like the Vetafarm. Which would you guys recomend? Passwell is cheaper but could that also mean not so great?

And heres a my new favourite pic I got of my Hubby and Suki yesterday as a reward for reading my post!

Awwwh I love love love the photo <3 so sweet!!

I don't know much about the pallet brands you mentioned. Dante eats Harrison's pallets. It took him few days (almost a week I think) until he learned that pallet is actual food. Previously with his first owner, he was on sunflower seeds only (so unhealthy for a galah to be on it only because those are fatty and fat tumor is common among galahs). Anyways, we introduced the pallets by adding them with the sun flower seeds. Little by little we decreased the amount of seeds. Eventually, he ate the pallets. He gets other type of seeds every once in a while now, but no sunflower seeds. Also, he is still on his Harrison's pallets :)

I hope someone will have more input on the brands you selected. Good luck!

I couldn't actually believe how quickly Suki started eating the pellets considering she was weaned onto seeds. But now that I got her eating them I've noticed she likes the vetafarm if they are in there but will still eat passwell quite enthusiasticly. Argh. I think I'll go with passwell because to buy it in bulk is much cheaper and she still loves em.

And thanks I really love that pic I'm so glad my hubby loves her as much as I do. We make a good family. :D
