Pearl Barley?

Just bought 2 packets of organic Pearl Barley, and was wondering if it is good for Parrots? Is there any nutritional value? How should I prepare it for my parrots... the way it is? Or cooked?

Any recipes would be greatly appreciated!

It is good for the parrots! But I have no recipe for it as I'm not a very good cook...lol...I let my partner do the cooking for the birds. I train, clean, and play with them. I feed them occasionally if I'm around by myself most of the day.
