Doc said everything looks great!!!:D We can start letting her out of her cage again! ...and bathing her (misting her)!! ....and HOLDING her...YAY:32:. He said with the holding we have to take it slow and we can't let her "cuddle" yet. Maybe one day we can get back to that, but honestly, we will probably be too gun shy to do that anyway. We are going to set up a playstand near us so she can be with us but not on us. There is still a chance that the prolapse could come back so we still have to be careful, but for now at least, all's good.

That's great news!

Thanks so much for the update, you must be thrilled!

I had hoped the latest surgery was the definitive cure; didn't know the prolapse could recur?

Very happy update! I know Peanut is feeling so much better and I'm sure she will be happy to have most of her freedom back.

I also thought Peanut's surgery was a more permanent solution with no chance of further complications.

Great update for Peanut :). Hoping all goes well, and that this was the permanent fix she needed.

Thanks everyone! As I understand it, if the stitches were to tear away from the tissue the prolapse could happen again. He said the hormones take quite a while to get out of her system also, so eventually we can hopefully be able to cuddle her again, but to take it slow for now.

That's awesome. I remember when i read your story, poor peanut. But it's great to hear she is on the mend. :D
