Dusty: Dusky Conure
So i go off to college, this is my fourth year away at school. While I am away I leave Dusty in the care of my parents. I would prefer to take me with me, but...loud bird or any animal are strictly frowned upon in the dorms...Any my parents take care of Dusty for him. More specifically my mom does. She doesnt take the best care...which gets on my nerves a lot but he gets what he needs...

Well my last day being home for the summer was friday. About an hour before i left my house to head back to school, I was holding Dusty, telling him how much i loved him and how i was going to miss him. Dusty was walking all over me, exploring the giant t-shirt i was wearing at the time. Well he tucked his head between my arm and my side and and then quickly removed his head. My mom who had just walked into the room and saw him do that says, "Peak-a-boo Dusty." Dusty got all excited started chirping and talking then hid his head again and then came out of hiding to which my mom saud, "peak a boo Dusty" again. This went on for a while. I was laughing, Dusty was completely enjoying myself. Come to find out while i was away for the last Semester my mom taught Dusty Peak-a-Boo.

Now you can relax, and concentrate on your studies.
Knowing he is in capable hands and enjoying himself and learning all at the same time.
You have a package in a million "thanks Mom"

Well unfortunately my mom teaches him new tricks but does not clean his cage all that often... which isnt a good thing... but i covered that :) Convinced my little brother to take care of his cage for me. Dusty doesnt like my brother much anymore but my brother uses cleaning the cage as a way to get closer to Dusty again. (Dusty doesnt like men)
