So I was able to do a few things.
I bought lots of the marked down Christmas toys for dogs and cats and took them to the humane society.
We also saw a family buying a green cheek conure at a local pet shop, with lots of toys, cage etc. We talked to the girl at the register and gave her $30.00 to put on the families purchase. We told her we wanted to stay anonymous, and stood looking at the dog toys near the front until they checked out so we could see their faces. They were so excited, and immediately went back and grabbed more toys
Made our night!
I also called Meals on wheels, and they have enough drivers for now, but kept my name and number just in case
