Hi Guys,
My friend has a pair of Patagonian Conures, He wants to breed them, they are ready to breed, they have a large cage with lots of toys, my question is, Do the toys distract them from breeding?
&
Is it best for me to remove the toys, so they can breed in peace?
Thanks guys :)

Though I'm not a breeder I don't see a problem with it, birds in the wild find natural things to play with and just because they'll be breeders they will still need wood to chew on, I would just suggest staying away from toys strung together with cotton rope.....my 2 cents worth ;)

I would have to agree with Bobby. It shouldn't be an issue as far as distraction. Keep the toys in there, it will be fine.

I bred birds for 15 yrs. All my birds had toys to play with. They need to oppotunity to forage, chew and have fun. May I ask why you say they are ready to breed?
