FWC (Fish and Wildlife Commission) inspector stopped by for a surprise inspection because we have Permits for exotics (parrots) and native game birds (Osceola Turkeys). They stayed for several hours and where very impressed with our setups/aviaries. Our turkey pens where the nicest they'd seen. With the blessing of the state of Florida we're good for 2 more years! Yeah, so nice to be legal,LOL.

I would have NO DOUBT you would easily pass an inspection. It sounds like you take good care of your animals- the pets, breeders and livestock. Those officials probably see horrendous conditions and 'animal mill' type situations all the time, so a proper operation probably impresses them a great deal:) Congratulations.

I can just see the quizzical look on the state inspector's face:

"By the way, how did you teach the turkeys to do auto repair?! I never knew they were that smart!" :D

That's what I was thinking too. :smile049: Congratulations!

Congratulations! Although I am not in the least surprised...they will probably ask you to give classes on how to properly care for birds:)
