Parrots of the World - Rockville Centre, NY Needs to Go

This store needs to close down! Look at the pictures of the conditions they put their animals through and look at their Yelp! page! He sells all types of animals and just cares about the $$$. Hell look at a video that someone compiled of the owner and how he takes care of his animals!

Admittedly they have some overcrowding for some animals, but believe me by far not the worst pet store I've been in. Some places have birds in teeny tiny cages, one per, with poops all over in food and water, the birds looking much like prisoners then pets. PotW has issues for sure, but I got Salty there, it was he and his sister in one cage, with toys, clean bedding, food and water, and they were well socialized already. Do they care that much for parrots that are $200 vs $2000? Thats the big question. THe pet trade is a hard one to make living in , and remain as caring as one would like. Leave poor reviews on their feedback sites, but dont put the guy in league with the devil himself.
Heck, if you know of a better shop on the Island, let us/me know, I'll give them my trade.

Too squeamish.
Don't have the courage.
I admire those who do, and who try to make a difference.
