My parrots nail got stuck in the cage and he bit off his toe nail and now it is covered with blood and inflamed. What can I clean it with?

You can clean it with bird-safe styptic powder or Kwik Stop. But the best thing you could ever do right now is see a vet.

I wouldn't use it. Maybe try rinsing the wound with plain tap water.

Donā€™t use peroxide, it destroys skin tissue. It shouldnā€™t be used in human wounds eitherā€¦I have used it briefly to bubble dirt up from deeper cuts when I was climbing, and then rinse with plain water quickly. I was brought up to use peroxide for cuts and didnā€™t learn until much later how much damage it could do. The betadine suggestion above is much better.
