Isolated Holler in the Appalachian Wilderness
Parrots
B&G Macaw, Galah, 5 cockatiels, 50 billion and a half budgies. We breed and do rescue. Too many to list each individual's name and age etc, but they are each individuals and loved dearly.
[Giggle] that's quite unlike any african grey I've ever seen.

Here in Poland this is a very common "mistake" made on websites where selling birds, which have to be registered here is forbidden.
But why it is made here I don't know... lol

When did you see this? We have someone currently trying to sell/rehome a male and female grey, but the mod team is looking closely at it.

They used those pictures several times here already. Likely picture was stolen from different site. It likely a scam that you email them and likely they will request for deposit scam and they will claim to be able to deliver the bird over. Also last listing that was deleted claim to have birth certificate, shots and other weird claims that don't apply to birds?

Saw it at 14:38 today. Lol I screenshotted and posted immediately when I saw it- too funny not to share. :D

This is a SCAM at several levels above Parrotforum as the Spammer buys or steals advertising space from a batch advertising sales group, which in turns buys banner advertising space from a website like Parrotforum. Once sold, the spiders and bots take over and load the banner with anything from targeted down to an individual viewer or website.

It's a Rock and a Hard Spot for the Website Owner as it is income with the vast majority of the advertising not being spam material.

Ad revenue from the traffic generated.

You, most likely, won’t be able to find anything on this! These ads, you have no control over, and they have no connection to anything to do with the forum!
This is raw space that is sold and anything can pop up in that window! And I mean anything! Those blocks are infamous for spreading nasties that will slowly cripple your computer with unwanted hooks!
Perfect examples are, news sites, home sales sites, and gambling site!
The contents are generated by the user! If you want a bucketful, browse the forum while logged off!

Thanks David. I'm aware, but just thought it oddly coincidental with the timing. If memory serves me, you're well aware of how it works, and have mentioned it in the past. Much appreciated my friend.

Most folks turn a blind eye to it, but these targeted ads are the result of data pulled from people's phones, computers, browsing history, even just something spoken near a phone in someone's pocket. It's kind of frightening if you really pay attention to it. No, I'm no conspiracy theorist, it's out there in plain sight if anyone wants to actually read the EULA for their devices or software.

I understand he has a bridge to sell in Brooklyn also..it has all it's shot's too.

The phones ceep me out quite a lot tbh. We have taken to leaving them in the other room in front of a fan or radio if not being actively used. Living as isolated as we do with so little internet, it really is obvious how much they listen in to the sounds and conversations that take place around them. Very very deeply unsettling. But that is a whole different topic lol
