On this recording from my cell phone, Mishka and I are chatting.
I ask Mishka what does Mishka do? she replies poppies in the potty.
Sean, she replies poopall.
What is mommy? she replies cuckoo I say doorbell, then she says knock on the door, then she says doorbell then makes the sound of a doorbell.
She says kiss kiss. She makes the sound of someone sneezing.
Whistle, then she whistles. Train, I say chuck achoo then she says poo poo's.
She chats on her own. I say call the police, she makes a siren sound. I say doggie then she barks, then she makes the sound of water.
On this recording, you can hear Mishka understands what is being asked, and replies accordingly.
Like I mentioned previously, this method works for us.
