What parrot should i paint?

I want to do a parrot painting to sell, but what parrots do people find the most gorgeous?

I was thinking maybe a green yellow crowned kakariki, male scarlet chested or some sort of Macaw... Any ideas?

I think Macaw would be a popular one! If it were me i would say a male eckie with his wings spread Or a Barraband. But i am a little biased...

Traditional Acrylic Paint ^^ I ended up choosing a scarlet chested parakeet... The shiny cyan bits stole me away lol.

Scarlet Macaws are always popular in art. In a way, I think that's why you should stay away from them.

I think if you're going to sell them, do the more commonly seen species so that people would identify more with it if they recognize it. People are also drawn to bright colors, rather than seeing a Bronze Winged Pionus LOL.. Of course "I" would buy THAT one

NiRD does have a point though.

How about Cockatiels? Everyone has seen one, but you don't see tiels in art too much.

OR, there are so many types of Amazon parrots with different head colors, that might be fun using the various colors.

:O no Mikey i didn't! My laptop went insane, and i resisted the urge to thrash it into the wall..so now i have a newer laptop but files still need to be moved and a few programs need re-installing.. Technology..ugh..lol.
