Any tips on dealing with over-bonding with a scarlet macaw (turned 5 years old)? She has started flying towards my wife with the intent to maim. This only ever happens when I am home. Due to my work schedule I only spending an hour or so a day during the week and a good majority of the weekend with my Scarlet. My wife takes care of her and they do great during the week, but when I am around it become a territorial thing. My scarlet was upset with me for a couple months earlier this year and that passed almost after I posted to the forum and we are back to being the best of friends. How can I stop these flying attacks? Thank you for any help.
