Oven Cleaning Question

Hi all,
I am sorry ahead if this question has been asked multiple times but I haven't found an answer as yet so here goes. How do people with birds clean their ovens? We don't have our baby home yet in preparation we are thinking ahead on how to do this. The fumes from typical cleaners mustebe toxic and yet the self cleaning option is also out. Are we doomed to have a dirty oven or is there an alterative?

We have a samsung oven with a steam-clean mode.... You pour 10 oz of water in the bottom and start the steam clean mode, the oven temp for this mode is nowhere near that of the self-clean mode.... Just hot enough to create some steam and the cycle only lasts 20 minutes.

You could also line the bottom of the oven with aluminum foil to catch spills and such...and make cleaning easier.
