- Amy a Blue Front 'Zon
Jonesy a Goffins 'Too who had to be rehomed :-(
And a Normal Grey Cockatiel named BB who came home with me on 5/20/2016.
..I'm feeling a little guilty, and sad, over Amys condition. Now I've been wondering if I do enough for him I know how much he just loves going for rides with me and visiting places, and today was no exception. It was like someone whacked me on the side of the head and said ' HEY!! LOOK HOW MUCH THIS BIRD LIKES GOING OUT WITH YOU!"
So I put the Salty Perch in the car and told Amy we're going for a ride.
He doesn't particularly like the Salty perch...heck,he cant look out the windows! It sits too low lol.
So I put him on his favorite spot,my right shoulder. As soon as we start moving his birdonality changes. it's like he is in awe of what he is seeing.Today his head was going every which way..looking to the right, looking out the windshield, then my window, his eyes wide open, and then he starts with soft Amazon sounds..grunts,"huh's" mumbles.
Gently trys to remove my sun glasses. Soft nibbles on my ear,he even rested and pressed his beaky to my cheek :15:
A couple people at red lights would toot their horn and wave to him and Amy looked back at them.
First stop was the pet shop. He knows where we are, been there enough times and starts getting vocal. Today the were out of Amys favorite friends no green armed Bee Bee's! but there was a slew of dusky conures that DID NOT like Amy! They all bunched together on one branch and screamed bloody murder at him lol all the while Amy was mumbling in 'zon lingo. He even enjoyed looking at the puppys they have.
last stop was the donut shop. Iced coffee for me and a munchkin for Amy.
On the way home, it was more beaky rubs to my cheek and soft amazon grumbles in my ear. I really need to do this more often.
