Well, if it makes you feel any better: Macaws are actually all just aggressive feathered buzz saws waiting to lunge bite and take your fingers off...

(Just ask anyone who DOESN'T own one. They'll tell you! )

Seriously, be afraid... be very, very afraid!

Oh yes they will bite your finger totally off from what I hear. If you own one you'll have only nubs instead of fingers, and they might peck your eyes out or take your face off.

I think that is why no one really wants to come over to our house lol. They think they will leave with no fingers or eyes. They also think our birds are going to swarm them when they walk in the door kind of like that Alfred Hitchcock movie.
