Our New Baby Oliver aka Ollie

We got him from a bird show this weekend. He is very thin and that has me worried but he's eating everything we put in front of him and his poops are a very healthy rich green. We go to the vet as soon as possible for a full exam. He's between 8-10 months the lady we got him from knew next to nothing about him. She couldn't even tell us what subspecies (we think he's a SI) he is and all she was feeding him was pellets that he didn't seem to like and some kind of baby mash stuff.

He looks like a Soloman Island to me as well!!!! That woman must of been a idiot, did she just bought him and decided not wanting him anymore??? Poor diet he was on, very unhealthy for him that can potentially cause him to have health issues. Anyone that is getting into Eclectus or any birds with special needs have to understand the needs that these birds require before attempting!

Wow, he is stunning and in amazingly good feather condition for a bird not being properly taken care of. So glad you found him and he has a great home.
