OUCH!!! Insult to injury

So I was fixing to cook some sweet potato for scarlet. I microwave em like a plain potato. Ya know ya gotta stab holes in em so there I was stabbing the life out of it, then I stabbed and the knife stopped moving but my hand didnt. Right down the blade it went. Pinky caught most of it. I managed to cut the tendons, now I gotta have surgery done. After I cut it and before I went to the ER I cooked that potato and gave it to my beautiful feathered angel, an example of my dedication to her. She gleefully ran to the bowl and grabbed a beakful as I stood there beaming with pride and a hand wrapped in gauze watching her. She looked at me, flicked a beakful on the wall and walked away. Apparently she didnt like it. Now I have to have surgery to repair the cut tendons and all I am upset about is that she didnt like the sweet potato and what can I do to make her like it?????

Cant help with the potato , but maybe you should look in Antoinette's first aid kit she's got for Mishka , you might even find a surgeon in there

Okay on the funny side.... Scarlet is probably a vegetarian, it was not the potato she rejected really, it was the sight of the blood (me and my wicked sense of humour sorry)

Nooo, its all good, I need the laughs. Hey, I did it to myself. Im not kitchen savvy ( I can mess up jello) Luckily Hubby didnt find this out till it was to late, Now hes stuck with me and thanks to the birds cant afford to divorce me....hehehee

HAHAHAHA Luckily dont have any of those wooden kabobs here, there is just no telling what I could do with alot of sharp objects

I prefer my knives super sharp... that way if an accident happens, it's much easier to stitch up...
