Otis Bean, African Grey Parrot
Never been mated, can be handled by everyone in the family (5) and we are looking to perhaps pair him up with a female.. I understand that they mate for life.
We are considering rehoming him if the right person comes along...

My wife and I are in our 60's and he will probably live another 60 years. So I think the time is right...

Bella is our female CAG and she is about 6/7 years old.
I admit I would like to get her a mate/ partner.
There is never any guarantee it will work out, they could hate each other.
My wife and I are also in our 60’s so we may not be what you are looking for.
My Son is much younger and lives with us and cares for the our flock as much as we do.

where about in the world are you located?

We are in the SF Bay area.

I am planning on a trip north, probably this weekend.
We usually go interstate 5 all the way to Southern Oregon.
Won’t be staying long a week and a bit.
If I was to stop by it would be best on the return trip.

As you are new you can’t PM members until you have more posts to your name. You can send a message to a moderator to forward it and I can do the same.

Do you have some pictures you can post?

You should upload some pics of him. Has he recently been to a vet for a health check up & full blood panel? Have you contacted Mickaboo to rehome him? They are the main SF bay area parrot rescue & do a good job rehoming as far as I can tell. I am also from there. Why exactly are you looking to rehome him?
