Has anyone ever ordered a part directly from the Prevue Hendryx company? I would like to purchase some of their bowls in replacement of the other ones I have because they're too deep for Avery to actually use, defeating the purpose of the built in food bowl doors. I emailed them and they said that if I wanted to order them, I'd need to email or call in my credit card info. I know I SHOULD probably be able to trust them, but I'm always skeptical about over the phone or emailing my info.

If many one has any experience with that, please let me know how it went to ease my silly paranoia. Thanks!

If the door of your easy access bowl are rails not solid panel you can just buy bowl's with ring clamp in other site....

I am always paranoid about that sort of thing too. I typically would rather shop in a store than ordering online. That being said, I have done it several times with various companies where I gave a credit card over the phone to a company with a known name. I never like it, as I'm imagining the operator or receptionist on the other end writing down my card number. Not that it happens, but depending on who is on the other end...

What I especially liked about Petco.com is that you can speak to someone live, but the operator puts you through to a secure payment system where they don't ever hear or see your credit card number. Probably more and more larger companies are doing that. Good luck finding what you're looking for.

I actually currently use those, but Avery is quite food territorial. Plus I'd like to be able to use the actual door as it's blocked and prevents bowls from being tipped:

But the bowls for the actual door are too deep for her, but the bowls for the new cage I have for my soon-to-be-here IRN are the perfect depth. I've contacted them and the bowls are only $3.10 plus a handling fee of $4.00 and then shipping.

It's kind of funny that when I was growing up, I never understood my parent's hesitation to use their card over the phone or the Internet. After having one for years now, I totally understand why they felt that way, haha! I just get sketched out really easily when I can't go somewhere physically should anything happen.
