I don't plan on getting anymore snakes for a little while...at least until my rack arrives in October or early November. I may be able to fit another baby snake if I tried but there may be another big animal cage (I shall not tell what it is though Julie might be able to guess...I'm still wearing them down!) in my room soon, so I'm waiting to see what happens with that situation before contemplating bringing home anything else right now.

While I'm not buying anymore snakes for a little bit...it doesn't hurt to look right. I can't decide which one I would get next and I will have multiple slots open in the rack for snakes...and I do want one more display cage so I'll have 4 or 5 open spots to fill over time.

So these are some favorites right now! Give me your opinions on everyone. Some of these are expensive so even if there are available babies in the next months I definitely wouldn't be buying anytime soon. All the pictures are from current kingsnake ads right now....so there are babies available right now lol

OreoXHalloween Milk

Blue Beauty (This one I am definitely getting sometime in the future)

Ghost California King

Stuarts Milk

Red Mountain Rat or Bamboo Rat

Hypo Hondo Milk

Toffeeconda Hognose

Leucistic Rat

Hypo Stillwater Bull

Purple Line Albino Anaconda Hognose

hahaha those are some of my favorites too:D I'm starting to feel pretty partial to the bullsnakes too. I saw one on petfinder that I would adopt if I had the room for an adult right now. I never realized they had a color fade until I went to the section for them on a whim.

Yeah, I bet you will *soon* have a lot MORE "big animal cages" too :D
I LOVE the blue beauty, how it's plain on one half and the pattern starts farther down the body. I would have trouble who to select because they (snakes) come in so many awesomely beautiful colors and markings. They're all eye candy!

The blue beauties are definitely a favorite and a future addition. They aren't expensive but they can get fairly large (some breeders I looked at had female breeders up to 11ft), so I didn't want to buy one until I knew I could afford to buy a big semi arboreal cage...the one I was looking at was 72Lx24Dx48H...expensive:eek: I'm still undecided on if my current albino beauty snake needs a bigger cage or not:rolleyes: Everyone thinks he looks fine in his current cage and sometimes I agree and then sometimes he just seems too big and active for it...

For some reason I'm leaning towards the hypo bull right now as my next guy...or maybe the hypo hondo...

I like the Purple Line Albino Hognose but she is about a 600 dollar snake....so that is one I won't be buying for a little while or until the pricing comes down...maybe someone will buy me one for christmas...

I can imagine the accommodations can get pretty pricey. Then there's the necessary equipment too. That semi-arboreal cage sounds cool, it must look pretty impressive at that size. Would get a little tree in there for the arboreal part, or branches sort of reminiscent of a parrot play gym?

I scanned the pics again, and wow they're all so beautiful! Do Milk snakes typically have those colors and patterns that mimic poisonous snakes?

I agree with many of the other's choices but I also really like the red mt. rat. I've always been a huge fan of rat snakes. By the time I got to high school I had 3 ball pythons, an 8 1/2 ft burmese & a Savannah Monitor.

Definitely some kind of branch like thing like a parrot play gym! And yep the milks look like the corals. People often mistake them and kill them even though they are harmless.

I loved my burmese he was awesome and reminded me of a dog actually. The beauty snakes remind me of a much smaller reticulated python! I'm really liking them and might have quite a few in the future...

I came across this girl the other day....she's so pretty...

Oh that one's eye candy too! So many different gorgeous colors and patterns, I can see how they're hard to resist. :32:.

Love that hognose! A good story, my wife spooked one in our garage and it went into the 'cobra' stance. She thought she was gonna die! Then, when all I did was start laughing and walked over to it and picked it up, well, interesting morning!
