Parrots
Liang Zai "pretty boy" in Mandarin Chinese.
3-year-old Jenday supervisor!
Canary: Johann Sebastian Bird
- is perched Liang Zai enjoying chewing up a wooden clothespin.
I'm typing single-handedly. The clothespin gives him pure chewing satisfaction. (These are bare wood untreated clothespins.)

Ouch! Now he's trimming my thumbnail!
He's doing a good, even parrotcure!

A friend gave a food dehydrator to us. It blows hot air not hot enough to cook anything.
Are there any foods which we shouldry out and give to Liang Zai?

I have been eating banana and apple slices dried into "chips".
He doesn't seem to care much for them.

I have a dried slice of cheese whichenjoyed breaking into pieces and dropping. Not sure if he consumed any.

Any suggestions?
Foods I shoud NOT offer to him?

Thank you.

i would personally avoid any high protien veg such as beans/peas because of the cooking process needed for these foods

i do not know how this dehydrator works, is it with heat?? if its with heat then i suppose corn on the cob would be fantastic! as nut loves both fresh an when i bake them dry :)

if its a posh freeze dry machine then try strawberry slices etc

sounds like you are having fun with your new toy lol what else have you dried?? other then cheese :)
