Oldies but Goldies

Nicely done! I wasn't born until 1958, but many of the cultural expressions from the presentation survived well into my childhood.

Would be nice to see one of the 60s, 70s, and 80s. Meh, the 90s are still too close!
 
Thanks for that! It brought back lots of memories (shame about the first few frames, though - they were ugly!!!)

I only have one small nit-pick to make: Flip Wilson and his character (Geraldine?) were from Laugh-In in the sixties, not the fifties, weren't they? Hope someone can clear that up for me.

You are correct on both issues, there were a few 60's scenes, and unfortunately, segregation was ugly and accepted in that time!
 
David, thanks for sharing that... it was really nifty and far out!! :)

I wasn't around in the 50's, but it's interesting that I recognize many of those things still being used in the 70's!
