I admit they look cool! And it's a herbivore! Of course that comes from someone who would have a owl or bat if they could...

I love Kakapos! I have never seen one in person (I don't think there are any in captivity because they are so rare.) I've seen a few documentaries on them, they're quite fascinating creatures. They're the only flightless birds I know of and apparently their feathers smell like honey. They kinds remind me of Kakarikis for some reason.

Such awesome birds - fingers crossed the breeding programmes have a successful few years! Apparently they smell amazing. We're lucky our gvt. has dedicated a few small islands to their recovery.

Double ditto! I've seen a few videos. They make cockatoos look like amateurs when it comes to destruction.
