Great idea for a thread, Stormy! I think budgies very much the unsung little heroes of the companion parrot pantheon!
This is our boy Valentino, aka Der Meistersinger von Brisbane for his beautiful singing voice! He is not hand tame and does NOT like being handled, not one little bit. A while back I was worried about his cere changing colour so I caught him once a week to take his photo to check for changes. Turned out he was fine thank goodness and it was just my overactive paranoia (and bad eyesight!), but the results were very cute
