This might be an odd question, but do Zons form relationships with other animals. I ask because Taco seems to have formed a friendship with Max our house bunny. He gets on the floor of his house so he can see Max and he mumbles and coo's to him. He's even gone down to the floor and eaten greens with Max from his bowl.

Zilla my OWA seems to have formed a relationship with my cat Simon.

She talks to him and throws food at him all the time.

O yes, birds can make friends with many non-bird animals. Just be sure to supervise all interactions between them:)

My YCA George and our neighbors' English springer spaniel were friends. When I would dog-sit, I'd bring Maggie the spaniel to my house. She would sit in front of George's cage and wag her bobbed tail, and George would talk to her and bark at her. :D George was always in his cage when Maggie visited, and Maggie quickly learned to keep a respectable distance-- once she got a little too close and George gave her a gentle nip on the nose, just to let Maggie know that getting too close wasn't acceptable. :)

My yellow-naped Sammy loves our snakes and lizard. He has NO interest in the other birds, dogs, etc. though!

Our macaws used to call the dogs and feed them... (toss stuff out of their dish to the floor when the dogs were around.)

Maggie LOVES dogs. They fascinate her.

My sister's cats used to fascinate my CAG. HE LOVED TO TORMENT THEM!!!! WENT OUT OF HIS WAY TO DO IT...

They are aware of other critters, and other people, and they form their own likes and dislikes...

Dislike can be SOOO NOT PRETTY!
