Nuts and seeds

Hi all I'm wondering if anyone can hive me advice please on the amounts of seeds ( pumpkin, sunflower etc etc ) and nuts I should give to my bird within a week

Please list the type of whatever it's preperation and the amount thanks
I know it's a bit of work but I have no clue where to start and don't want to over feed

My boy is somewhat similar to a ring neck in size except a lot more bulky

What type of bird is it again, sorry I am lazy to go and search? Each species requirements are different.

we suspect with a king parrot but are not sure

Before any advice is thrown in here, I'd really like to see some pictures, the way you describe it you make the bird sound strange in a very cool way.

I can't tell you what to serve or how much, but I can give you this awesome link:

Seeds & Nuts Nutrition ( I know the site is for ekkies, but if it meets their needs it meets most parrots lol)

It goes through many seeds and nuts and what they can offer in terms of nutrition Providing a small balanced mix over the week should be fine.

The research I've done on nutrition and discussions with our breeder have lead me to make seeds and nuts only about 10% of our birds' diets. Seeds and nuts are to parrots what chips and fries are to people...okay occassionally, but not something that should be a significant part of thier day.
