Not quite right?

Hi all,
For the sake of this post I'm going to refer to this bird at a 'she' even though I don't know the sex.
I have two alexandrines that I have raised from 2 1/2 weeks. One thrived and is so alert and healthy. One struggled. At one stage I thought she wasn't going to make it. She even had what looked to be seizures sometimes. I started feeding her more and increased the temp of the box and she came good. Now she's always been a little behind the other one but she is still not looking 'quite right' to me.
Her plumage looks dull compared to the other one, and she hasn't quite got the hang of landing whilst flying even though she's been flighted for about two weeks. (continues to crash land). She will perch in her cage but struggles to perch on my finger when I hold it in front of her and will rather step on to my hand if I hold it out flat. She also insists on being hand fed still whilst the other is basically weaned.
So what do I do with a bird that I feel is 'not quite right'? Is it possible that this bird has as we say "special needs"? My husband is sure that in the wild this bird would not have survived or been tossed out of the nest :11: How can I find a home for her, as my husband and I have decided that at this time of our lives a parrot does not suit us. She is about 11 weeks old.

Where are you located? I'd find an avian vet if possible and bring them both in for comparison.

I personally love special needs birds, two of my Amazons are special needs but I promise you they get by just fine!

Thanks Aquila :) In the meantime I have found a more experienced bird breeder who was willing to take her on. I feel relieved that she is going to someone with more expertise, but very sad at the same time. Oh how we get attached to these animals!
