Woohoo! This arvo, I had the Phloque out with me in the kitchen (cutting up soup veg: they were helping). Dear Madge flew off with a parsnip end and perched on top of the playgym to eat it. A few moments passed when suddenly, Madge dropped her prize and it fell onto the cage, making a loud bangalangadang. Of course, everyone got the vapours and flew off INCLUDING DOMINIC.
He made it all the way to the front door!
The poor guy was seriously discombobulated and frantically trying to get a beakhold in the insect screen, but he flew a LONG way! So proud! Not only that, but he let out a full-throated shriek that any card-carrying Galah could be proud of. So when he bit me lustily all the way back down the hall, I didn't flinch. Dominic is not a pedestrian any longer.
