Hi
I'm not sure if this is normal?
She has always been a sneezer, and I had her at the AV because of it, when she was still tiny. I didn't really notice these, are they normal, OR do they need to come out?

Here's another picture. Hard to get the light in there to get a shot of it.

I know electus are vulnerable to low vitamin A. So feed some foods rich in that like cooked sweet potatoes, or pumpkin, or butternut squash, or peppers, and carrots.

Your home may be to dry , maybe run a safe humidifier, I am currently running one in my home its very dry.

I am unsure if the nostril is plugged, sometimes birds seem to have a structure in there.... so check with vet. Or the people who have ekkie will see your thread and comments.

I always recommend weight checking yiur bird. Often you will pick up a health issue by weight loss.

With each species there are slight variations of the structure within the nares openings. They can be confused with blockage.

Low Humidity is a common cause of thing becoming stuck in the limited openings around the normal structure. During those dry times of the year it is common for a visit to your Avian Medical Professional to have their passages flushed.

As a Non-Professional I cannot say weather what is there is normal or if the passage has become blocked.

My Yellow nape suffers from low humidity in the winter.
Using a humidifier helps him allot.

Thanks. Its not blocked, she breathes fine. I was bathing her, using a bottle sprayer, causing a fine mist over her, thats what made her sneeze. Shes not unwell. Now that she's weaned she keeps a steady weight also. I am planning to take her for a checkup in a few weeks, routine visit, so I'll ask when I do that. I also have an online vet, may as well ask them too.
