Nike Picture thread

It's been a while since she's been on her travel stand in the front door getting fresh air and sun and she immediately decided to take a bath. I captured a long video for my archives and figured I'd post it here but also a sort 90 second clip for the end of the bath for those less interested in watching my love take a bath for 5 minutes

Seriously I could sit and watch Nike in the bath all day, she looks and sounds like she's having so much fun!!

I watched both versions with HRH Julio also looking on!! With Julio, I must refill his water bowl every 10 minutes or so and with cold water!!

WOW, I was reminded just how long her tail feathers are!! Her ability to fly near in-place or pull-off highly controlled landings must be amazing!

I'll try to capture some video of her landing and you're right, she at times, looks like a hummingbird when she uses her wings to slow down and land.
My OWA never flew so I don''t have any experience with Amazon flying but Nike can fly 50 or 60 feet when trying to catch up to me and land on my shoulder as light as a feather. She doesn' t just run into me she always has a very light controlled landing.

I don't know if you saw my post in the Health forum about her, she really gave me a scare.
