Surprisingly, it turns out he's a jenday - I managed to track down the breeder and get him on the phone. He said their jendays occasionally "throw a little yellow" into their wings, but they definitely don't breed sundays. What a tricksy little bird

My husband started a Twitter account for Calypso, and I'll be setting up a Tumblr for him this evening. I can't wait to upload all these fun pics!

I don't believe it... I'd believe that there's probably some sun in his background! Probably a sunday mistaken as a jenday!
