New Zealand Kea Hunt

Just got back from a trip to New Zealand to see Kea in the wild. I am writing a little timeline of the trip up and I'll put it up here when I am done (can't link to my site). Here is a taste though, adult Kea photographed at Arthur's pass on the south island alps. I am going to make this photo into a high resolution downloadable desktop wallpaper (when I have time!).

Thanks for sharing all those photos!!! I find Kea parrots to be fascinating birds, I watched it on animal planet one day about them. Very interesting!!!

Keas are one of my FAVORITE pet birds, and I plan on visiting NZ one day to see them, so I am GREEN with envy Beautiful specimen by the way
