Great to find a site where other bird owners congregate. I own a white front amazon his name is Bell. I also have a Pineapple Con. Her name is KriKri. I am looking for other white front amazon owners in my area to perhaps share wisdom on these temperamental birds.

Bell seems to love all female humans and me. I am the only make he will passively interact with. He seems to want to take fingers first and greet later.

My KriKri is just as ugly as me. She is very temperamental as well. she hates being worked with. bites as hard as a rat trap with pointy edges. Loves to draw blood. However when she is with Bell in his cage (i dont know why i put them in one cage but it had nothing to do with him wanting her.) she is as passive as a docile sloth. No blood. Bell really loves her too. He pukes for her the whole time.

Any info will be great

Welcome to the forum!!!! I have seen a white front Amazon once at a pet shop years ago.

I've worked with a pair of white fronts, down at the rescue. Never owned one. Personality wise I found them to be similar to the mexican redheads, only not quite as loud. (Those two were LOUD!)

Fostered lots of other amazons. Napes (2), mexican redheads (2), DYH (2), blue fronts (1 foster, 1 owned) Owned by two amazons at the moment, soon to be three. (Red lored, lilac crowned, adding a Panama)

We have quite a few experienced amazon owners on the board, though I'm not sure we have any Kri Kri owners... that's one I know less than nothing about.
