New to Parrots and now living with an Amazon

Coco CHOMPED away at his pellets for breakfast this morning! YAY! Then proceeded to take a piece of carrot up to his pellet bowl and eat that. Happy Happy!

Thanks for the links to the older posts about foods! I'm slowly working my way through those... It seems I was lost and now I have multiple tabs open to read. This is amazing!

Coco is currently checking out the casserole dish with floating veggies. Today is a Good day

Glad he's on the right track for a healthier diet... Amazons are foodies, and with Jackie- if he sees me even chewing he wants to know what it is, and wants a taste test ASAP lol "HELLOOO?!??"
as long as its bird- safe, I gladly share with him. You could try eating healthy things like fruits and veggies in front of him and then give him his own pieces (not ones you've bitten on).

Yup, Yup. I was on my way to post something there NOW
