Charlie Brown- SI Eclectus, RIP. Oliver aka Ollie - Vosmaeri Eclectus
We got it at the bird show for a very reasonable price from the wonderful people of Fancy Feathers. Their website kind of sucks... but at the shows they are awesome we saw them at the Orlando Bird expo and now at the Jax show.

In the last picture it looks like he is breathing a sigh of relief. I love the swing. Where did you get it?

Oops. If I would have read it, I would have seen where you got it. A duh!

CharlieBrown, I have a question for you that has nothing to do with the swing (although it looks GREAT! I want to try and make one myself!)

How'd you get the pictures in your post without it counting as an attachment? haha

We were at the Jax show as well but ended up getting a "boing boing" 12' rope spiral swing and a new hugemongous cage with branches and accessories. Great show and a TON of great deals :)

*Wish I would have got one of those swings though...

Andrea, i have a photobucket account, its free, i post the pictures there first then I use the img code the site provides just copy and paste into your post and there you go nice pretty pictures :) I think you can do the same thing if you post your pictures on this site too either into the photo gallery or in your personal albums

OH! I didn't even consider the img code... it's been so long since i've been on a code forum LOL thank you :) I have all my pictures in my photobucket LOL

Heather I think we met you and your BF at the bird show! I was checking out your beautiful Ekki and a strange man with a Macaw was lecturing on how your Eclectus would live 90+ years. I had to walk away before I said something "un lady" like LOL. He is sooooo cute. I love his name too :)

I had to re-look after viewing your boy Oliver. He's not a SI but I think he's a Vosmaeri, after when we were talking about it on your other thread I was thinking to myself, his tail is a bit long, SI male have shorter tail and their primary wing feather reaches the tip of their tail feather. Plus SI males are a bit stockier build. Are you able to post a clear picture of his tail feather from under? From what I can tell from the picture I am pretty sure he is a Vosmaeri, Red Sided Males have longer tail feathers too, but just like SI only the very tips are yellow while Vosmaeri's yellow goes up just a bit more giving little more coverage.

Jacqueline, Yep that was us.... that guy is crazy he goes to the Riverside Arts Market with that bird all the time. He has trapped me there before too. I can't believe he rides around with that beautiful bird on the back of a motorcycle

Mikey, bird butt pictures just for you :)

Tail feathers are about six inchs long and the yellow is only about a third of an inch rough guess he wouldnt hold still for more accurate measurement the p.i.t.a. lol j/k we love our screamer even as our eardrums bleed

Cowtown, he has been mostly just screaming :( Today however he's been trying to talk a little sounds like he's trying to say Oliver, hello, plurpo (word made up by my boyfriend for a cartoon character he draws, we use it a lot just as random word, i know we are strange), and birdo. :)
