Parrots
Budgie, "Julie"
While browsing through the forums, I noticed a couple of widely kept species aren't listed when trying to post a thread. I think three sections should be added. Let me list the birds that should be added. Lorikeets, Vasas, Parrotlets. If anyone agrees, post and tell me what bird sections you would like to see, and maybe it might just happen :D

I think that the "Other" category seems to sum up the "left outs" pretty well. There are simply not enough people with Vasas to justify having a Vasa parrot section on the forum. People also seem to post Parrotlet information in the Budgie section, so that works out well without having a ton of different sections. :)

Lorikeets should still be added, and parrotlets should be added in with lovebirds so instead of "lovebirds" it should be "lovebirds and parrotlets". ;)

very true....scratch that idea :p

I agree with you. Especially with the parrotlets and loris. I also still think there should be a psittacula section for them all instead of just a irn and alex section. I always debate with myself if I should post in the irn or other section, when talking about my plumheads.

So true Plum heads are so pretty, tell me, how much does one run for?

Maybe they need a "parakeet" section? Is there one already or is that a budgie section?

I don't like calling my birds parakeets, they are nothing like budgies /parakeets.

I hate how they gather cockatiels budgies and other parakeets together like they are all one bird, as budgies and cockatiels are VERY different.

Sure is hard to find a good parrot forum.

But they're in the parakeet family.

Budgies are not rightfully called parakeets. Theyre are budgies and in the parakeet family.

Cockatiels are in the cockatoo family and they are very different than say a Umbrella Cockatoo.

Lets just keep the forum the way it is, its completely useable, looks great, and is easy to navigate. I would hate to see it have a bazillion individual categories.

Thank you, Thank you, Thank you. I think it has too many categories as it is.
